Ballet and Radiohead...

Sounds like my kind of party. Choreographer Stephen Petronio will be using select Radiohead songs for his ballet entitled Ride the Beast. Selected songs include 2 of my favorites, "Idioteque" and "National Anthem." The ballet will premiere in mid-August in Scotland.

Petronio's rationale for this?

"Radiohead's music is a brilliant investigation of achingly modern taste. They sail through genre and form effortlessly and passionately, and their music demands a physical response from me that by-passes reason."
