Karaoke Bob

Last week, the sales team & friends had a little gathering after work to celebrate Bob's 1 year anniversary. Needless to say, it was a good time. Festivities kicked off @ Soho Park ("Try the Tahitian Vanilla Shake!"- Bairam), then moved over to Puck Fair, where the beer flowed like wine, and the women instinctively flocked like the Salmon of Capistrano. After getting crispy over there, Michael "the man, the myth, the legend" Shafrir, fresh off a trip to Japan, suggested we head over to some random karaoke bar in the East Village (14th and Ave A I think). This proved to be one of the funniest nights of my life, courtesy of Bob & Shaf, who should seriously consider travelling around the country just getting drunk and performing karaoke. Thanks for the photos Jen. Here are a few funny things Bob did that night: 1) Sang Screamed "El Scorcho" @ the top of his lungs in the cab on the way to karaoke 2) Struggled to grab the mic out of my hand at one point during "Say It Ain't So" and ended up hitting himself in the face with it 3) Ran up to the bar and tried to grab the mic from an unsuspecting female patron (who we didn't know) during her turn @ karaoke 4) Continued to sing scream "El Scorcho" during every single song that came on and 5) Ended up getting a bottle of Poland Spring dumped on his head by Shaf, to which he replied "Dude, you seriously just ruined my whole night. Now you owe me a shot." --- Classic.
